Ingredients
Filling
- 2 cups cooking apples, peeled and sliced (about 2 large)
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cups pears, peeled and sliced (about 3 large)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ cup raisins
- ¼ cup walnuts
Crisp
- 1 cup oats
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted

Directions
1. Combine peeled apples and pears with lemon juice in the lemon juice in bowl.
2. Sprinkle brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
3. Place apples in a greased shallow 9” square baking dish.
4. Combine remaining dry ingredients for crisp in a separate bowl; add melted butter, mixing until crumbly.
5. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of the apples.
6. Bake at 375°F for 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender.
7. Serve with vanilla ice cream or yogurt, great by itself too.
