Ingredients
- 2 pounds asparagus
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper

Directions
- Heat the oven to 450°F.
- Wash and trim asperagus ends.
- Boil spears in a large skillet for 5 minutes.
- Evenly coat asparagus on a baking sheet with the olive oil coated.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Place on rack in upper third of oven.
- Roast for 5 minutes, turn spears and roast until tender.
