Ingredients

  • 2 pounds asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Wash and trim asperagus ends.
  3. Boil spears in a large skillet for 5 minutes.
  4. Evenly coat asparagus on a baking sheet with the olive oil coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Place on rack in upper third of oven.
  7. Roast for 5 minutes, turn spears and roast until tender.
